Basically,  that is social microdonations service that lets you support creators you like (hope, I am among them).

How it works?

You make an account and than allocate a monthly budget. It can be 5 bucks or 100. Each time you like something and you see a flattr button next to it (like the one in the top right corner of that page) click. By the end of the month your budget is divided between all your “likes”, and that money is given to the creators.
